International Conference on the Middle East: Building Trade Union Solidarity

On April 16, Congress will host an all-day International Conference on the Middle East which will feature contributions from Palestine, Israel, the United States, Canada, South Africa and the European Union.

The conference will take place in Dublin Castle and will be opened by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Micheal Martin, TD and chaired by Congress President Jack O'Connor.

Among the participants will be representatives from both Palestinian and Israeli trade unions; from human rights and peace activists working in the region and from international activists and trade unionists in the United States, Canada, South Africa, England, Scotland and the wider European Union.
